Introduction to the Fun of Playing the Ukulele Part 2 Winter 2022 (Zoom Course) Limit 10

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Ukulele sizes
This course is a continuation of the Part 1 held in the fall of 2021. Added are more chords, strums, and "tricks for easier playing."
If you feel comfortable tuning the ukulele, and are able to strum and play several chords, it's a great time to join in to play and learn more. Having attended the Part 1 Introduction course is not mandatory.

Lecture and/or demonstrations are followed by songs using that day's material which will be emailed to the student. Expectation is that students will un-mute their Zoom microphones, and play in order to receive helpful suggestions.
Classes are relaxed and fun!

This course has a limit of 10 registrants. If you are a member of another senior college, email smksenior2020@gmail.com and leave your name, email, phone number, and the name of your college. If there are openings after two weeks, you will receive information on how to register. Those who took the course in the past, who are from another college will have preference over other non PVSC college members.

Instructor: PAUL HALVACHS
Paul Halvachs started playing the ukulele after he retired. He finds that it gives him joy to play and share his love of the ukulele (uke) with others. Teaching others to enjoy playing enhances his own pleasure of the craft.
This is Paul's third time teaching for PVSC on Zoom. He is looking forward to more ukulele musical events and hopefully teaching in-person sometime in the future.
Past attendees have expressed how patient, kind, organized--and relaxed Paul is with each member of the course.
