Life on the Path: Understanding Spirituality

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

The class will consider how the spiritual dimension of our lives develops in our adult years. Presentations will include descriptions of some ways of understanding this process, drawing on understandings from psychology, philosophy, and religious phenomenology. We will also consider how spiritual development is facilitated in different religious traditions, and how it may go on outside formal religion, looking at the many ways a spiritual dimension manifests in our everyday lives. The aim of the class is to help participants reflect on their own spiritual development and further that process with new insights and awareness. The  format will include presentations by the instructor and class discussions.
