Earth
The course will explore milestones of America's space program through the people involved, NASA, and citizen experiments/observations, space exploration's benefits for people here on earth, plans for future space missions, and other topics. The course will include class discussion, student research and presentations, and hands-on activities.
Note that this is a five-week course that begins April 9th. It's offered by our new Bucksport Affiliate at the Bucksport Superintendent's Office Conference Room at 62 Mechanic Street. (Check RSU 25 for cancellations if there are weather concerns.)

Instructor Bob Cottrell
Bob worked for more than twenty years for the Bucksport School Department (RSU 25) as an Educational Technician, many of those years with students who qualified for extra support in reading and math. He currently works part time at the Challenger Learning Center of Maine in Bangor.
