July 21:  Three Liberal Triumphs
Chief Justice John Roberts joined the liberals on the Supreme Court to block President Trump’s rescission of DACA, to block a Louisiana law that would make abortion extremely hard to get in Louisiana, and (along with Gorsuch) to read the federal anti-discrimination law to protect LGBTQ employees.  Join PVSC and Sol Goldman for this one-day event to explore the scope of these decisions, which may be less than meets the eye.
 
July 28:  What else is there?
We’ll learn how the Court will answer the following questions:  If a Maine town has no public high school, state law says that the town will pay for an alternative school, but not a religious school.  Is that constitutional? Speaking of religion, can every teacher in a religious school be denied protection against discrimination because they are “ministers”? And how about congress or a state prosecutor getting those Trump financial records? Can the President keep it all hidden?  Join PVSC and Sol Goldman for this one-day event to explore the final decisions of this year’s Supreme Court term.
